Hi,
on cluster (drdb) with 2 node (master, slave), is possible have 2 version of proxmox? (es. 1.5 and 1.6).

If I have 2 proxmox with 1.5, can I upgrade one to 1.6?

Thanks,

Francesco

no, a cluster needs to have the same versions (but different kernels are possible). mixing 1.5/1.6 could work but do not do it as this is a not supported configuration.

Humm, what's your advice for upgrade a cluster of many proxmox ?

- Upgrade Master and after Slave ?

- Destroy Cluster, Upgrade all, Recreate Cluster ?

And What your advice for migrate VPS of proxmox 1.5 to proxmox 1.6 :

- vzmigrate ?
- vzdump on 1.5 and after vzrestore on 1.6

Thanks for your response and your advice :)

I would start with the slaves and then the master.

just upgrade.

you do not need to migrate away just because of an upgrade.
