Cluster wide Backup delay per node

Hi, I configured in Datacenter/Backups a 20 node cluster to do backups to PBS. Unfortunately all the nodes start backing up at the same time, which causes a very high IO on the PBS and leads to timeouts of backups.

Any idea how to delay this or to setup that the nodes to the backups one by one?

Regards
Andy

you could split the VMs into multiple jobs that run at different times. But yes, I would like an option in PVE to limit the amount of concurrent backup jobs just like you can limit the amount of concurrent jobs of migrations

Well having a cluster with 20 nodes, it is difficult to split the backup time per node as you don't know the exact "finish times" of every node. This way you would just loose available backup time.

An option in datacenter backup config like "one by one node" would be good, as everything else makes no sense.
