I've done some reading, saw that other people were having a similar issue. However, my /etc/hosts file does have pvelocalhost and is configured correctly.

I can't seem to figure out the issue. Any thoughts?

unmask the pve-firewall service with "systemctl unmask pve-firewall". now the upgrade should work.

Was successful in doing that, now have this issue

that would indicate some kind of issue related to storage - what does "pvesm status" say?
