It sounds like you have been away for a long timeSpice was introduced in 3.1 as technology preview and is officially supported in 3.2.
Chrome has dropped support for NPAPI plugins starting with version 35 stable. Which means that Java will be unavailable - so no console in Chrome.
Any progress on the SPICE based console?
It most certainly doesn't work on Linux (Ubuntu)Java plugin with Chrome 35 works here without problems, please describe your problem more detailed.
Tested on Win7-64, Chrome 35.0.1916.114 m, Java Version 7 Update 55
I can confirm this (Debian Sid). You can use latest Firefox or Iceweasel instead. It works with icedtea >= 1.4.3It most certainly doesn't work on Linux (Ubuntu)
