changing mac of Virtual machine

i need help for changing mac address of my current virtual machine without losing my data.
i have created my VM in bridge mode so with mac address and not with venet.

I guess you talk about OpenVZ container? Simply edit /etc/vz/conf/<vmid>.conf, the restart your VM.
