CephFS two way mirror

Hi I'm trying to get two cephfs shares on 2 different sites to mirror in both way's. To try and achieve this i was following this guide: https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/dev/cephfs-mirroring/

But when i try to "systemctl enable cephfs-mirror@mirror" i'm getting the error that this service doesn't exist. At the same time I can't seem to find a proxmox specific guide to achieving CephFS mirroring, what am I missing here? Has anyone achieved this before?

Are you using proxmox ves ceph means pveceph or ceph upstream? If pveceph then --> this does not work as pveceph uses different method then current ceph upstream.

Have you found a way to start a mirror daemon?

I try to enable mirroring as well .

I use the ceph dashboard to configre the subvolumes, so i can use the deafult snaphot scheduler from ceph.
And I use this howto :

But proxmox is not using the orchestrator for deployment, so i can't get the mirror daemon

OK there is a package in the new ceph installation of proxmox .

apt instal cephfs-mirror

We use ceph 18.2.4 . We try to create a cephfs mirror as a backup to another site.
We know that there is no support for this from proxmox, and that we can't expect any support for the mirror.

But it would be nice if you would compile and ship the cephfs-mirror daemon, so that we could put together a solution for ourself.
