Could anyone tell me, what this parameter mean?
My settings:
root@kspb-vvv1:~# ceph osd pool get ssd-pool min_read_recency_for_promote
min_read_recency_for_promote: 2
root@kspb-vvv1:~# ceph osd pool get ssd-pool hit_set_count
hit_set_count: 2
root@kspb-vvv1:~# ceph osd pool get ssd-pool hit_set_period
hit_set_period: 14400
I think so -
When reading cold object (which doesn't exists in cache pool), first time we read it directly from backing pool, without make a copy to cache pool. On second reading (in hit_set_period) object must be copied to cache pool and then all readings will be done from cache.
Is it correct?
