New to Proxmox, have a basic question: I want to set up several instances of sipXecs in order to to test clustering and failover. Given that SipFoundry provides no real Debian support, I have two relatively straightforward options: use one of their preconfigured CentOS or Fedora ISOs under Proxmox, or using one of the Proxmox precreated templates and then installing all of the sipXecs packages on it. Is there a preferred option here?

Any hints here? Is there a way to use the existing CentOS template and install over it using the sipXecs install CD?

--thanks
Hi,
i don't know sipXecs... CentOS template is for a OpenVZ-vm - the install-CD for an kvm-VM (i guess)?
If the installer don't need kernel-modules you can go for an openvz-vm. If you need kernel-modules you must install the modules on the host or use a kvm-vm.
