Hi,

I've got a strange issue with the last kernel 6.8.12-1-pve and my network card Sun ATLS1QGE. The card is drived by the "niu" module.

Proxmox is constantly reporting for each interface connected "link down", and few seconds later "link up". I've got a lot packet loss, sometimes it was unusable.

If I boot back with 6.8.8-4-pve kernel, the problem didn't happen.

I'm staying with the 6.8.8-4-pve kernel for now. I've also checked and changed old network cables. The host computer is a HP 400 G1, with a i7-4790.

Is it a problem with the kernel module ?

Finally, I put new thermal paste between the radiator and the chipset, and the problem is now gone.

The old one was very dry...
