Can't use qcow2 as Format ?!

i will have a Snapshot from a VM, in Proxmox Web GUI

I read: The current guest configuration does not support taking new snapshots - OK, i found some infos for here at the forum.

i will convert my proxmox VM HD to qcow2, but, it is greyed out

i'm one step further ...

I can do this: (In VM Settings) Hardware, Hard Disk (select) and click on Disk Aktion. I can only convert to qcow2 if i select the local storage Type: "dir" Storage.

On my LVM i can't set or convert nothing?!
 
LVM provides block level storage, so no, you can't. You could create an LV, format it with a file system (e.g.), and then mount that as directory-backed storage. However, I really can't recommend that.
