Hi everybody,

I'm trying to install PVE 4.4 on a HP server (it has 2 SDD Raid 1) but when the installation get to the 5% ("creating root filesystem") it gives "unable to mount /dev/pve/root".

Then I press CTRL+ALT+F2, I can see this lines:

mount: /dev/mapper/pve-root: can't read superblock
unable to mount /dev/pve/root
mount: /target/var/lib/vz: mountpoint not found
mount: /target/tmp: mountpoint not found
mount: /target/proc: mountpoint not found
mount: /target/sys: mountpoint not found
mount: /target: mountpoint not found

Can anyone help me?

Thank, Gabriel Fernandez

What HP Server do you useing? What exact Model, what Raidcontroller? Did you see really the Raid in the installer, or the whole disks?

I'm using HP ProLiant DL385 G7.
I see the Raid 1 on the BIOS as on the installation wizard. What IDK is the radicontroller. I just use the one that provides the server itself.

Thanks for the help :D
