I used this: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/how-to-install-proxmox-ve-4-on-debian-8-jessie/ Link for the help with the install also: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_Jessie gave the same errors

Thanks in common.

what is a "strato VPS" in detail?

Proxmox VE is designed to run on bar metal.

I want to point out that a stripped down VPS (e.g. Strato VPS) is not the right install target for Proxmox VE.

Go for a dedicated root server (bare-metal) for full featured Proxmox VE performance. e.g. from www.ovh.com

Thanks tom, I don't need that much power and performance. I want to deploy 3 or 4 vm's I now got 8 cores and 8 gigs of ram. Just for parallels RAS. I got my self a hp server at home with enough power but I don't need that much
