Hello. I'm having trouble configuring storage on my box (running beta 3). The 'create' at the bottom right hand corner of the pop-up window stays grayed-out even after I fill-in all the values I should. And it doesn't matter what browser I use: firefox 3.6 & 8 and chromium. What could be wrong please?

make sure you run the latest packages, run 'aptitude update && aptitude full-upgrade". reload the gui (shift/reload to clear browser cache).

if the issue is still there, provide a screenshot and the output of 'pveversion -v'

Hello,

I want to join to this discussion.
Just a question: How to add any storage. My feeling is I missed myself in menu :) On the left side combo box I choose the storage view, what then...? What should I to click to create local directory storage?

Cheers

go to "Datacenter" and you will see the "Storage" tab.

The issue still exists. Here's the screenshot:

Thanks for your help.

that's now okay, but there's something I'm still not doing right.

I added the storage, as below:

But when I tried to create a container, I didn't get any options for the storage part:

Maybe I'm just stuck in the proxmox 1.x way of doing things:). What do I need to do to indicate where I want my virtual machines stored (you know, like pve-data in 1.x)?

you should see the "local" storage there, you are doing it right as far as I see.

post the output of 'pveversion -v' to check your version. did you a ISO install or did you install from Debian?

Hi,

I installed from a beta 3 iso; the output of pveversion:

pve-manager: 2.0-14 (pve-manager/2.0/6a150142)
running kernel: 2.6.32-6-pve
proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 2.0-54

corosync-pve: 1.4.1-1
openais-pve: 1.1.4-1

vzquota: 3.0.12-3
pve-qemu-kvm: 1.0-1

The 'local' option is still missing. Is there a video of how to reate a container/vm on version 2 please?

After upgrading the entrance vanished realm choice and you can not go into the admin center

Thanks for your help.

We have on some computers the same. But when you click multiple time on the pull down, the pull down contents will be visable. Looks like the ajax loading hangs on soms computers on firefox 8.0.1 & 9.0.1
