Hi, I just created a win7 VM, but cannot start it, it always gives me the error:

I didn't find anything on google.
Code:
# pveversion -v

Hi,
is the error-message different if you start the vm from console? Like
Code:
qm start 101
Can you post the vm-config? "cat /pve/qemu-server/VMID.conf"

Hi, I've got the same Error using the latest 2.1 Proxmox VE. Starting the VM on the command line works, whereas Opera refuses to start it. Firefox is able to start the VM but crashes after it tries to load the java applet for the console. I'm using the open-jdk, is it possible that the sun-jdk is needed for the console applet to run properly?

Hello...

I get the same 2.1 error using Opera 11.64, build 1403 on Windows 7 64bit SP1.

Updated to latest java from java.com, so I guess that means I'm running sun-jdk.
(I've tried both 32 and 64-bit java)
Code:
java version "1.7.0_04"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_04-b22)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.0-b21, mixed mode)

Here's one vm which is failing, but it happens with everyone I've tried:
Code:
root@multitower:/etc/pve/nodes/multitower/qemu-server# cat 104.conf
#Debian
bootdisk: virtio0
cores: 1
ide2: none,media=cdrom
memory: 2048
name: fatsotemp
net0: virtio=16:12:ED:77:CE:C7,bridge=vmbr0
onboot: 0
ostype: l26
sockets: 1
virtio0: local:104/vm-104-disk-1.raw

It's not a huge deal for me as this is on hobby-basis, and I'm getting an awesome product for free.

I can use IE to start/stop and open consoles - Still it would be nice to know why this is happening.

Small update.

Trying the new beta of Opera (Next) (Version 12.00 beta / Build 1431) and both console and start/stop works - even from right-click menu.
It seems they have introduced some new bugs though - update problems - suddenly don't show info-pane when clicking another vm etc.
