Cannot delete old Backup SSD configured as Directory

From the Proxmox GUI there is appearently no way to delete an old backup USB SSD connected disk that was configured as a Directory (USBSSD240), now I've configured the same SSD as USBSSD240GB and it works fine as Backup.
Everitime I try to delete the old Directory I got the error popup "not a valid block device".
Seems to me I should only remove the missing Directory from a configuration file but what file is it ?
Please masters of th PM universe put me on the right path.

Hey,

when clicking on one in the top-right corner under "More" you can select destroy. That should remove the mount unit and cleanup the disk and any configurations referencing it.

Yes that's exactly when I get the popup error "not a valid block device". I also tried to edit /etc/pve/storrage.conf but the file has no content.

There is a r too many in your path. Please show the output of cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg
