Cannot access web interface

Hi,


I have looked all over the internet and have not been able to find a solution for my problem.

I went through the installation process and it completed without issues. I am able to see my server through pinging so it is reachable from my laptop however the web interface does not load at all.

I have tried restarting the pveproxy and pvedaemon and that did not change anything.



The server I am using is HP iLO 4 ProLiant DL560 Gen8

Can someone please assist me?

Can you SSH into it? What is the output of ip a and cat /etc/network/interfaces ?

Yes I am able to SSH into it.



However I cannot access the proxmox login from here.

This is the output I got from cat /etc/network/interfaces

Are you going to https://10.27.1.50:8006

Also is your iLO using the same IP as Proxmox? Because that won't work.

I am using the same IP, I didn't realise they should be different.

But I have gotten proxmox to work now. The ethernet cable was connected to the wrong port so the server itself was being seen instead of proxmox
