Hello,

i have the following problem: Today I booted Proxmox on my old Mini PC, reinstalled it, set it up etc. The Mini PC is connected to the Internet via a network cable. The installation went quite well so far. I should access the IP https://192.168.100.2:8006/, but my browser says the connection failed. I really have no idea about it and don't know what it could be.

I didn't configure anything or do anything else, I did the installation according to the guide.

192.168.100.2 is the default when no network is detected during installation and never works. Lots of threads about similar issues on this forum.
What is the output of ip a when executed from the local Proxmox host console (using a physical keyboard and display)? A readable photo will do.
What is your local subnet? What is the IP address of your router? What is the DHCP-range of your router?

Hi @mathiskmp , welcome to the forum.

Here is a basic list for you to answer and/or research:

What is the IP of the PVE server?
What is the IP of your workstation?
What is the IP of your gateway?
Can you ping the PVE server?
Can you ssh into PVE server?
What is the output of "ip a" on PVE?
What is the corresponding output from your workstation? (ipconfig /all ; ip a)
What is the output of "curl -k https://127.0.0.1:8006" when run directly from PVE (over SSH or physical console?)
What is the output of "curl -k https://<CHANGE_THIS_TO_YOUR_PVE_IP>:8006" when run directly from PVE (over SSH or physical console?)
