can´t shutdown vm-100

Hi, recently installed vm 100 in fresh proxmox 5.4.1 install

Everything seems normal except for the fact that I can´t shutdown VM 100 from the GUI nor the cmd line with qm shutdown 100

in both cases the answer is

 can't lock file '/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-100.conf' - got timeout

I´ve checked the path and there is no qemu-server directory under /var/lock/

Is that serious ? have I done something wrong when installing proxmox?

Did you tried unlock the config file with command qm unlock 100?
