Bypassing "This program cannot run under Virtual PC"

Hello, if it is possible to bypass messages like: "This program cannot run under Virtual PC"? As I see under VMWare it is possible: https://www.weavweb.net/2016/07/05/bypassing-this-program-cannot-run-under-vmware-or-virtual-pc/

try to edit the vm config with

cpu: <CPUTYPE>,hidden=1

i not see any entry like
"cpu:"
I take a look into conf file of VM.
But anyway I insert that line like:
"cpu: kvm64,hidden=1"

I do that but it not solve that problem. It seems that it not bypass by only edit that setting.

did you stop and start your vm afterwards? (restart from inside the vm is not enough)

Hello, I edit that conf. Before I stop VM then edit and after that i start vm. That is my config file:

But it seems not bypass.

then maybe your application detects something else, you can try to use another scsi controller and network interface (not virtio)

If app coder was sufficiently stubborn, it is not possible to hide from the app the fact it is currently running in virtual pc. This has been discussed many times on vmware/xen/kvm-lists, even here...
