Build Recomendation

Hi - apologies if it has already been covered but I want to build or buy a 3 node cluster that I can install proxmox VE (with high availability) and CEPH on. I don’t have a particular use case - I will mainly be using this to experiment with proxmox, run a handful of virtual machines, run various home automation servers, etc. My main goal is to familiarize myself with proxmox.

Is there an entry level setup (motherboard, processor, chassis, power supply, memory, etc) for each server/node you recommend, or even better, is there a white box supplier that sells something like that already built?

Thanks again. I guess I need two SSD drives in each (one for the OS and the other for the CEPH OSD)?

Are those geek minis really powerful enough to launch full VMs and running CEPH?
