[SOLVED] bnx2 eth0: NIC SerDes link is down

Hi,

from yesterday suddenly i am getting these messages "bnx2 eth0: NIC SerDes link is down"

Can't connect to server from ssh and none of the websites also working.

Detailed error in the attached image.

Pls advice.

some info:
The server is HP ProLiant BL465c G1
Its Proxmox bare-metal installation, running fine for 1.5 months and now suddenly bnx2 error...

and i can only access it now through HP iLO
attached the output of pveversion -v

Hi,
you are sure, that the link is physically ok? It's a hosted server? Ask your provider - perhaps the Ethernetport on the switch or on the server is faulty (or the cable).

Yes its hosted server, i updated their Support ticket with your comment, they checked the port/cable and fixed it..
