I've been trying to get PVE installed on a couple of Intel NUCs (NUC7i7DNKE), and I've been unable to get the installer to come up no matter what method I try for booting the installation media image. So far, I've tried the following, all with the same result.
  1. PXE boot using netboot.xyz
  2. USB boot using Ventoy
  3. USB boot using a drive written with Balena Etcher
Each time, I'm greeted with a white screen and a cursor, but no menu. Flipping over to tty2 to see the debug output reveals the following.

The Openbox-Message: Unable to find a valid menu file "/var/lib/openbox/debian-menu.xml" jumps out as the only potential issue. The only relevant thread that I could find is from 2012 and didn't provide any sort of solution.

Is there a way to better diagnose this, or even a CLI installer that I can use?
