Best way to Migrate an Old server to a New One

Hi people!!
I have a question, I have to migrate a simple 4.2 Proxmox to a new server (6.3).
How is the best way? NFS backup ? USB disk?
Create a Node ?

Backup VM's/LXC's to storage on old box-> scp them to new box -> restore

is a bad idea to Use samba or nfs to scp directly to the new server ?
