Backups funktionieren nicht mehr

Ich kann keine Backups mehr machen.

Bei den CT Maschinen hängt er sich hier auf:

du musst noch die --tmpdir option benutzen, kannst auch in /etc/vzdump.conf das tmpdir setzen wenn du das permanent haben willst

erm wo muss ich das machen in der pve oder in der CT? und was muss ich genau da reinschreiben... sorry bin da nicht so drin

Backup mache ich auf einer NAS... dies ging auch bis gestern problemlos..

Kannst du mir da genau sagen was ich im pve schreiben muss, nehme an mit "nano /etc/vzdump.conf"

du musst die /etc/vzdump.conf bearbeiten, tmpdir option auskommentieren und DIR mit einem pfad ersetzen. dieser pfad sollte auf deinem PVE host liegen.

zum beispiel:

So ganz klar ist mir das auch noch nicht mit dem tempdir.

1.) Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe wir bei VMs nie das tmpdir benutzt sondern nur bei LXCs?
2.) Wird beim Backup einmal der ganze Inhalt der "virtuellen" Festplatte des LXC ins tmpdir geschrieben und anschließend in das Backup-Ziel verschoben?
3.) Wenn Punkt 2 zutrifft, würde es dann nicht Sinn machen das tempdir überall auf eine HDD zu legen, wenn die LXCs von SSDs laufen, wenn man die Abnutzung der SSDs gerne etwas schonen würde?
4.) Was genau macht das dumpdir? Ich hätte gedacht, das wäre der Ort wo das Backup am Ende landet aber dafür gibt man doch eigentlich auch "storage" an?

Wäre echt nett, wenn da einer vom Staff vielleicht einmal kurz zusammenfassen kann, was da beim Backup von LXCs/VMs auf ZFS und LVM passiert. Also was da von wo nach noch geschrieben wird.

       Backup modes for Containers:

       stop mode
           Stop the container for the duration of the backup. This potentially results in a very long downtime.

       suspend mode
           This mode uses rsync to copy the container data to a temporary location (see option --tmpdir). Then the
           container is suspended and a second rsync copies changed files. After that, the container is started
           (resumed) again. This results in minimal downtime, but needs additional space to hold the container copy.

           When the container is on a local file system and the target storage of the backup is an NFS/CIFS server,
           you should set --tmpdir to reside on a local file system too, as this will result in a many fold
           performance improvement. Use of a local tmpdir is also required if you want to backup a local container
           using ACLs in suspend mode if the backup storage is an NFS server.

ja kann man machen, aber hdd waere wesentlich langsamer

damit kannst du einen pfad fuer das backup auswahlen der nicht als storage hinzugefuegt worden ist
