I wouldn't rule them out either. But as you suggested, I now backup locally and then move them via rsync to the storage box.

Got the same problem with fresh installation with ZFS.
Found solution from this topic, but can't quite understand how to pass this option via pve storages config.

I deactivated the caching by passing `cache=none` with the CIFS mount options.

Of course i cant mount storage using console, but i want to see it in GUI.

What i've noticed is that issue concerns ZFS root installation. At first i thought it was memory problem, so i restrict ZFS memory consumption to 3GiB, but problem remains. Any help appreciated, thanks!

I had the same problem.
The solution is to set in the /etc/vzdump.conf file:
bwlimit: 400000
The value should be selected empirically.
This value does not degrade performance, but prevents this error from occurring.
I don't know why, but it works.
