Backup von Proxmox auf USB Festplatte

Hallo Leute,

bin ja noch Neuling mit Proxmox, daher mal wieder eine Frage. Die Suche hat mich leider nicht an den für mich verständlichen Punkt gebracht.
Was ich möchte: Alle Backups/Snapshots auf die externe USB Platte legen, nicht auf den internen Speicher.

Ich nutze einen Intel NUC mit eben einer 1,5TB USB Platte dran.
Ca. 600 GB sollen als Speicher für Nextcloud dienen. Der Rest für Backups.

Jetzt habe ich schon einige Seiten hier gelesen, aber irgendwie nicht verstanden wie das geht.

Falls einer eine eher german Anleitung weis, gerne.

Du bindest die Platte auf einer Node ein und gibst das mount Verzeichnis per NFS frei. Das kannst Du dann bei Bedarf auf anderen Nodes einbinden.

Denke bei Snapshots geht das nicht, weiß es aber nicht.
 
Ok danke für die Antwort. Ich bin leider auch Linux Neuling, kannst du mir also das etwas einfacher erklären??
 
Einen entsprechenden Eintrag in der fstab für die Platte machen.
Danach in /etc/exports
Code:
/mnt/backupvm/backup 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0(rw,nohide,insecure,sync,no_subtree_check)
Sowas in der Art eintragen. /mnt/backupvm/backup ist der mount point meiner USB Platte und 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 mein Netzwerk
