I have been running proxmox server on the same hardware, I have a new server setup and decided to turn the old hardware into a backup server, however the backup server install doesn't recognize or see the drive to install, yet if I try to install the proxmox vm server it works just fine??
To get the backup server to install I had to use version proxmox-backup-server_3.0-1
Now its installed how can I use the 500gb partition as a backupstore? or should I partition the disk before install ?
I partitioned the disk and then mounted the extra space using fstab
