backup on remote facility ?

thinking loudly, I am thinking to use PBS to backup anything from servers in the local DC to the server on our remote facility (we have transit link with them via a tunnel). Do you think it is OK to backup everything on a server in the remote facility over 1G link? maybe asynchronously using a local PBS. Thoughts?
 
it all depends on what else happens over that link and how much data you want to backup ;)
 
oh we are only speaking roughly of 200GB daily maybe less since it will be deduplicated. I don't think the final backup will go over 1TB
