Backup - on proxmox

Hello there,

so i get some virtual machine and now i want backup them,

so i add my qnap NAS in NFS sharring, and i create a backup job on all my VM :


So i make a dayli backup VM the probléme is a full backup evry day, how to make an incremental, and not backup ALL THE data of the VM evry day

What are the requirements for the system?
Is there any way to estimate how much memory will be needed?

I would have hoped you could somehow easily make backups to e.g. a storage box from hetzner.
But I noticed that he first copies the data over and then compresses it, so I have to choose a very large backup storage, even though it will be almost empty most of the time?

An own server would mean much higher costs than storage.
