Hello

I installed a proxmox backup server from ISO on a VM on a promox node

I want to backup a VM from another proxmox node

everything went fine folliwng the documentation and particularly the section fro proxmox integration
docs/administration-guide.html#pve-integration

but when I try to add a backup from proxmox GUI using this new storage I got this error

INFO: starting new backup job: vzdump 102 --all 0 --storage backup --mailto xxx --compress zstd --quiet 1 --node proxmox03 --mode snapshot --mailnotification always

1/ should we use the standard backup from web interface on the pbs serverver or command line ?
2/ any reason for the backup failing on this storage ?

Thanks

could you please post the output of 'pveversion -v'?

your pve-storage package on the PVE node is really outdated - please upgrade to the most recent version, then it should work.

hello

after "apt update" , "apt upgrade" on the node hosting the VM and rebooting the VM to backup , it works

thanks for efficient support !
