Backup notes

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way (or if is in roadmap) to add a description / notes to a vzdump file that can be seen so one can choose correct file to restore if there are multiple saved (i.e if I need to make some backups at some points). Maybe saved with .txt extension together .log and .lzo files.

This function is available. If you choose a backupfile and click on "Show configuration" you see all your informations.

No, I think Francesco means a backup note. There is no way to add a note when doing a backup in the GUI, like "backup before installing ABC".

It would be very useful to have this feature.

Maybe in some situations this make sense. No this is not available, not yet. So please do an feature request on https://bugzilla.proxmox.com
