Liebe Gemeinde,
ich sichere meine VMS etc. im Hetzner Storage. Das klappt bei kleinen VMS auch gut nur bei größeren bricht das Backup ab.

Hab jetzt lange mit Hetzner Storage geschrieben. Die können keinen Fehler auf der Storage Box feststellen. Man hat den Server selbst in Verdacht gehabt und getestet aber auch da war alles in Ordnung. Das Interessante ist, das eine local Sicherung auf dem eigentlichen Server auch nicht die volle Größe ist aber als Ok gemeldet wird. Hier mal der Auzug:

ja das es nicht die volle groesse hat ist okay - "INFO: backup is sparse: 110.09 GiB (55%) total zero data" ;)

beim "schliessen" des backup-archivs (wo die ausstehenden daten auf die disk/den storage geschrieben werden muessen) tritt der fehler auf - also sehr wahrscheinlich sind hier noch einige daten gepuffert und der storage kommt nicht damit zu recht dass die "ploetzlich" rausgeschrieben werden. eventuell laesst sich hier mit mount optionen noch verhalten verbessern (mehr oder weniger cachen, puffergroessen, ..)
