Backup in S3

Installed the s3fs package. Mounted bucket S3 to a folder. Proxmox added a Storage folder with S3. When copying, the file does not immediately go to the S3 folder, but first where a backup is made locally and then it is copied to the S3 folder. Is it possible to do something so that the backup is immediately removed to the S3 folder, because there is no place to add backups locally?

how do you copy the backups onto s3? i don't know if it works, but why don't you add the s3 folder as a datastore?
if i understand you correctly you want to make a backup locally to pbs, then copy (move?) it to s3 instantly.
if you do this, you'll give up most of pbs' incremental backup advantages, since that would rely on the chunks being present (which they won't if you move them on every backup)

That's just S3 added as a folder and pointed to this folder in the storage, but when backing up, the archive does not immediately go to this folder, but to some temporary one and then only copies it to the folder from under c3. I would like the archive to be created immediately in the C3 folder

are you talking about proxmox backup server or vzdump backups ?

ok, because this is the proxmox backup server subforum (i'll move the thread to the pve subforum)

while you can configure the tmpdir/dumpdir via /etc/vzdump.conf i guess you cannot change the move behaviour (so it will always be moved)
