Hello,

I would like to avoid running my Proxmox server 24/7. I would like it to switch off at 12 am and switch on again at 8 am.

Is there a possibility?

There are many, from the simplest of just buying a power switch which you can get from your local hardware store and then using cronjob to shut down cleanly or you could use wake on lan and dronjob to shutdown,... etc

Hi,
I'm using a similar strategy for the 2nd node of my cluster.
I'm using cron to switch off the unused node at specified time and to switch back on if your BIOS support the switch on schedule like described at this link

FYI: You can also use rtcwake on the host to shutdown and set the reboot time in a cronjob to achieve this.
