Dear Proxmox Community Forum Admins,

I very much appreciate the existence of this forum. It has been so incredibly useful as I learn how to use Proxmox. I recently spent a few days researching solutions and troubleshooting a variety of issues on my system, and I came up with what I think are good solutions. Much of that research was done on this forum, picking bits and pieces out of posts scattered across multiple threads, as well as the rest of the internet.

I decided to compile my solutions into a nice protocol to post on this forum so that others could reference it, give feedback, etc. My first attempt at uploading the post failed - your server timed out. I thought maybe the post was too large and needed to be split up, so I tried this. Again, the server timed out and the upload failed. So I reduced the post size more and tried again. I took me at least an hour to write and prepare the original post, and then at least a few minutes each attempt to perform the copy-paste editing work for each reduction--my attempts were not hammering the server with intervals measured in seconds.

I immediately received a banner notice saying that my account was banned for spam and that I should contact an admin if I thought it was in error. No contact method was given to reach an admin. I tried emailing the general support email for Proxmox (office@proxmox.com), but have not received a response. Perhaps it is not the correct method to reach a forum admin?

Can a forum admin responsible for dealing with banned accounts please send me a direct message so that this can be corrected?

Thanks,

PongoMongo

office@proxmox.com is the right avenue for such inquiries, please respond here if nobody got back to you until Monday.
