Can you post the output from the logfile /var/log/Xorg.0.log? Also, it seems you don't have an a 780 gpu (partially because that gpu doesn't exist), but rather that the device-id of your integrated Intel® UHD Graphics 770 is 0xA780 [1]. Since the cpu is so new, it might fix it to simply upgrade the kernel to 6.1

The two ways I can think of is installing debian and then installing proxmox on top [1] or taking the drive you want to install proxmox on out, plugging it into a older server, install proxmox (and upgrade the kernel), plugging it back into your new server and fixing the network configs.

The genius idea is install PVe from old system , put the SATA SSD to the new build

YES, network configs, stuck for a week. Even try to put on USB- Network card have no connection.

Is there tutorial just get it to work?

I really love to try this PVe as my terraform build

The most comprehensive guide to network configuration is on the Debian wiki [1]. Since PVE is built on Debian, almost all things on that wiki work in Proxmox. But there are plenty of other resources on YouTube [2], google, other linux wikis etc., just look up something like "debian network setup".

Did the internet connection work in your old pc? If yes, it might just be that you need to change your network interface. To do this:
  • run netstat -i to get a list of your interfaces, it will probably be named something like "enp0xxxx".
  • run nano /etc/network/interfaces and change the old interface. again, it will be named something like "enp0xxxx".
  • restart your network with systemclt restart networking
  • to check if you are connected to the internet, try to ping a website: ping google.com. if everthing worked, you should see something like
    Code:
    PING google.com (142.250.181.238) 56(84) bytes of data.64 bytes from fra16s56-in-f14.1e100.net (142.250.181.238): icmp_seq=1 ttl=54 time=20.3 ms
    64 bytes from fra16s56-in-f14.1e100.net (142.250.181.238): icmp_seq=2 ttl=54 time=20.1 ms
    64 bytes from fra16s56-in-f14.1e100.net (142.250.181.238): icmp_seq=3 ttl=54 time=20.1 ms
    64 bytes from fra16s56-in-f14.1e100.net (142.250.181.238): icmp_seq=4 ttl=54 time=20.3 ms
You can also try tools like nmtui [3]. Kind of overkill if you are not planning on using the server as a workstation as well, but you could also install a desktop environment like Gnome, which comes with Gui-tools to automatically connect to a network. For that you would again need to install the ssd in your old computer and run apt install gnome.

Hope this helps :)
