Arduino within a Windows VM

Hello all,

I am trying to setup and Ardunio within my Virtial Machine however it looks like it cant find it. It see's it in the list for the VM


I also have the serial port added to the VM



Within the VM it does not come up at all and when I do plug out and back in again it refers itself to the "USB Serial Device"



Would love to know if anyone could help me with this issue. Thanks.

do you have the arduino drivers and IDE installed inside the VM?

Yeah I do, I did some Googling and some people are saying what I am seeing could be that the Arduino could be faulty. However it is see in Proxmox.

I just tried it on another PC and I get the same.
