Hello,

does anyone has more info about running proxmox on the Apple Mac Pro?
I would like to buy a Mac Pro to setup as a server.

Is it possible to run proxmox ve on such hardware?

We do not use Apple hardware here, but does Debian Lenny run on Apple Mac Pro?

The first generation of Mac Pro would install proxmox. However you won't be able to use a RAID card.
The latest Mac Pros will not install any bare metal non-mac OS.

I have not tested using bootcamp though. I am not sure if bootcamp would allow to install only Windows or any other OS.
