So I'm going be installing Proxmox 9 today on my Ultra 9 285k, 128gig with 2x 4tb nvme's (gen 4). Yes I know only guy left in the world using Intel /s.
I normally just use default everything.
1) It's my hardware in my home
2) I don't plan on ever migrating VM's even though I have other servers I always do a fresh install of the VM's.
3) I like to try provide the best performance I can for Modded GTNH Server (heaviest of the modpacks with lots of users).
4) Very heavy 1 thread type operation. I give it more then 1 as it uses more than one, but 99% of the work will ending up being a single thread (the way MC works)
Any suggestions outside default vm options would be great. I think it runs decent on default settings, but if there is a tip or trick I can learn to give it even a couple more percent in performance I will take it.
