Another Methods to backup proxmox?

I want to perform backup for my lxc container proxmox, Is there another method to do this without "proxmox backup server" ? Because my goal is to stock those backup on AWS S3.

I want to performe backup from my TrueNAS to my lxc container. What files should do a backup for them ?
Is file disk (.raw) sufficient or there are other file to back them ?
