Almost a year Proxmox node!

One of our Proxmox node has been running for 333 days without a reboot! Getting to a point where a reboot becoming increasingly necessary. But trying best to hit 365 days mark!

Just wanted to share with community.

Do you use kernelcare or similiar?

Nope no Kernelcare or any other 3rd party software. Nodes are Proxmox+Ceph only.

I understand that this can happens, but for security reasons it's an nightmare... your system is weak and a potentially risk.

Is it because updates are installed but may not have been activated due to no reboot?

Hi,
right. If you stop/start or migrate VMs after uprades, the qemu-upgrades are activated. So only kernel-related bugs are still unfixed til reboot.

My two Proxmox nodes was almost the same results, one less, one more.
Here is the biggest uptime I have, node was rebooted for upgrade from 3.4 to 4.4
