Hello, I have a short question: is it possible to add AHCI virtual HDD for VM? I need it to virtualize Mac OS X...

...just add disk as normal and edit/change type in <vmid>.conf. to "sata<n>" afterwards....see: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Manual:_vm.conf

To whom ever it may concert, you can detach the drive and then double click the unused disk and attach as SATA.

just pointing out that using SATA for VM disks is recommended against. The performance is worse than with VirtIO and it's also not as well maintained: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-qm.html#qm_hard_disk But for certain OSes like Windows, you can't use VirtIO out-of-the-box, but need to install the drivers first (can also be done during OS installation): https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Windows_VirtIO_Drivers
