Hello, Every,

I accidentally delete the main node. my running rm -rf /etc/pve/node/mynode. Now in the GUI it is not showing up the VM and CT. I searched proxmox forum but didn't found any solution.
The below solution is not working for me:

1. Without restarting anything copy the /var/lib/pve-cluster/config.db
2. Stop pve-cluster and corosync services
3. Restore the /var/lib/pve-clusterconfig.db
4. Restart the services
pvecm updatecerts -f

* qm list return empty.
* :/etc/pve/qemu-server is empty also.

The backup server show unable to find vm/100 while running the scheduled backup.

Any Solution?
Thanks

i think the config that the /etc/pve/node/mynode has are gone. hence the error you are getting that the backup server is not finding the vm.

i think you need to do a restore from backups as the vm is running yes but the config how to get to the data (vms ram cpu etc) is nuked.

try and recreate the directory and the config files but i would wait for a official staff member to help you with this. but do a backup of the vms from the vm itself and try and do a host lvl backup of the hard drive if you can.

get proxmox backup server setup and running if the vms are important to you.
