Hello

I know that Virtual machine use virtual hardware, but is there a way to access physical hardware (GPU, Cryptographic card, etc) from a guest machine.

I want to be able to use Opencl softwares that require the presence of Opencl hardwares.

Please advice

Thanks in advance

As far as I know, the only option for this is VMware. If it's possible with KVM or OpenVZ, I'd love to know how regardless of how many long nights and head-splitting guides may be required.
I was going to post the same thing so I thought I'd give this a much overdue bump.

yes I also believe that it is a very difficult way. (in my Testmachine I wanted to build a VDR system, with a TV tuner card as a VM But after everything I've read, I've given up :-( )
You have to search for "PCI / PCIe passthrough" there are a lot of threads about it (for ex. PCI-PCIe-passthrough)
