About Proxmox v3 New Antivirus Engine Update progress and steps?

First of all thanks for new release for registered customers.

I'm sure about that with Commtouch My mail gateway is more powerfull for ;W
We have started to use since 1 Agust, same time with release.

But i would like to know that is there will be any daily update or core updates Commtouch bases?

Since we insatalled Engine version = 4.6.5
Database version = 201205311501

Also there is not exist any customazation feature right now for Commtouch like ClamAV . Isn't it?

Meaning is v3 is going to ask realtime, instate of the offline db update.. If it's like that , so cool

yes. clamav is the doing the traditional way (signature based). very important if the commtouch servers or the network between you and the commtouch servers is not reachable.

beside commtouch we are also using postscreen. postscreen detects bot senders so the emails with viruses never got transfered and clamav and commtouch have no work to do.

So totaly three protection it's have for e-mail viruses.
ClamAV - Commtouch + Postcreen(for bot sender)

yes, but also greylisting, RBL and SPF are weapons against bot nets.

and you can also go for a second signature based virus scanner - Avira SAV. but this one needs to be licensed separately.

I aggree.But SPF is not usefull because of the nature of this progress. Many companies are using isp based solutions, this is why it's might block many of domains.
