A custom program that works on other computers is failing on Proxmox Windows VM

Hello, I am new to proxmox and installed it to run a custom program that was made for me.

I used to have the program run on TrueNas windows VM's but needed to upgrade which is why I got proxmox. I use the same windows version on Truenas VM and everything works great. But when I try to run the program on ProxMox VM, I get a SSL Cert Verification Error. Again, on Truenas VM and on any of my other computers, the program works but on the proxmox VM, it is giving me error. So I do not think it is a problem with the program but somehow the ProxMox setup or the VM setup.

I am fully new to this area of servers so please let me know if you need more info or anything for me to clarify.

The web server for the API is already built into the program if that what you mean. Sorry I am new to all of this.

Here is a screenshot of what I see (sorry I had to cover up some personal info). Let me know if there is a command I should do to find out more to see what it isn't validating.

Hi,

Your windows VM doesn't recognize the issuer of your certificate, if it's not a certificate generates by a well-known CA, you have to manual add the root in your system.

For a more detailed response you need to provide details regarding your setup and/or the certificate.

I am not sure how to do that. But my other windows VM's worked perfectly fine and I did not need to add anything which is odd.
