550: 5.1.1 : Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient

When our scheme is :

internet <> proxmox mail gateway <> zimbra mail server

The result is I can't send e-mail from yahoo mail to zimbra mail server (ex: user@zimbramail.com)

our scheme before is internet <> zimbra mail server, everything is oke.

How can I solve this problem ?

Hi,

it seems, that you activated verify recipient address. That's fine, however, the system, where the mail should be delivered to, also need to confirm, if the user exist or not. If this system is not set to give such information, you have two options: 1. activate the verify recipient also on the destination system, 2. deactivate the verify recipient in PMG settings.
