I am new to Proxmox and don't know a lot about it tbh.
I was able to clone VMs from one storage to another storage on one Node with my ansible script as well as just clone it to the same storage.
I tried the same but it does not work; let's say from Node1 to Node2

so I recently got into Packer and created some VM templates with, which all worked fine. During testing, I only used linked clones, so there was no issues. However, now that I'm done with creating the templates and I tried creating a working VM using a full-clone of the template, it crashes...
One of the first things I did after setting up my PVE was creating a basic installation of Ubuntu Server, get it set up with all the basic bits, and then convert it to a template.
I have cloned (full clone) this template a number of times and I did notice that each time I cloned it...
I also read this before I post. I still new with Proxmox but I like it! :)
I have a latest Proxmox server using only 1 physical (home) server with Linux software raid, mostly for:
samba: file sharing: movies, music (for raspberry pi music players) and for windows notebooks for movies...
Maybe someone can help me here. I'm very new at Proxmox.
I add created a template and from that template I created a Full Clone.
The clone machine is working great.
By deleting the template, the clone will continue to work without problems ??

Hi, when I try to create a full clone from a virtual machine, I get a warning "" is there any way to bypass it? Is it possible for example in the configuration file to replace the type of disk from scsi to sata without data loss
