What is the current recommended way to have xfs instead of ext4 as filesystem for a lxc container mount point (mp0)?
I am trying to create a xfs file system for a container mount point. But it always ends in a container crash on startup:
root@tokoeka /mnt # pct start 110 --debug...
I dont understand the correct syntax for pct set to mount la local loop device from a raw file.
I have a *.raw file which was converted from a kvm VM (qcow2 converted to raw). It contains mass data and shall be attached into a lxc container. As far as I understand...
I am migrating some KVM VMs to lxc. The direct conversion of the qcow2 images fails on the command line:
qemu-img convert -f qcow -O raw vm-109-disk-1.qcow2 /mnt/data/images/114/vm-114-disk-3.raw
qemu-img: Could not open 'vm-109-disk-1.qcow2': qcow (v1) does not support qcow version 3

A few days after upgrade from PVE 6.4 to 7.0-11 I see a strange message in the shell:
root@tokoeka ~ # du -hs / | sort -rh | head -5

I am in the middle of upgrading PVE to 7.0 and - while still on 6.4. - I have no more network connection after a reboot.
The primary network device is down (and therefore also the vm bridges) and it is impossible to activate it manually with ifup
ifup fails too
I am trying to fix this with...
Good morning,

Hi,
I have lxc containers which shall only have an internal networking connection (on vmbr1 = private 10.010.10.x network). The PVE host has a masquerading rule to allow updating/installation jobs for the inernal lxc containers. For the ipv4 masquerading I followed this info...
Hi,
I have a problem with abuse messages from hetzner on behalf of the german BSI for my root server with proxmox PCE 6.2.4. On one of the kvm VMs there is an univention installation with open ports on udp 111 which are known to be misused if they are public. I created a firewall rule for this...
Hi,
I have a de-compressed dump file (*.vma decompressed from *.lzo) with 250 GB and want to extract all contents of the /var/www directory selectively from the main drive of this VM (drive-scsi0). I can not find any documentation to handle this with the vma cli tool. So, what is the correct...
Hi together,

Hi,
I am having problems with backing up lxc containers which were accidently created with the "unprivileged" flag. I want to test if using them in "privileged" state solves the backup problem. But how can I change that?
In pct on the command line there is no option to change the unprivileged...
Hi all,
I have a problem with the routing of additional IPs on vmbr0 which are from a different subnet. My installation is a proxmox PVE community 6.x on a hetzner root server. The networking setup is routed and my primary network segment is 138.201.52.x/26 with 138.201.52.41 as the main...
Hi all,
I am a newbie to proxmox, so please apologize if my questions are a bit "basic"
