We don't know what login you are trying to use with GUI. Let's assume it is root. root/whateveryourpasswordis If you can SSH in as root then you can login to the web console. Hope this helps.

They mean you shell in. You can SSH. Say your PVE IP is 192.168.0.99 ssh root@192.168.0.99 Run passwd in this shell.

Hi, running PVE 6.0-4 I had a CT running pihole and updated it(apt update, apt upgrade) connecting with lxc-attach --name ID After I typed reboot it dropped back to host shell. I cannot start container. I get this error. Not sure what I am looking for when I run the commands to troubleshoot...

Do backups work(when run manually) without the script? If so check script syntax. Not saying your script is faulty, suggesting the upgrade could have broken the script.
